Book 21 of my Advent calendar, Love Me Not, is a crime novel by MJ Arlidge and is one of a series featuring his detective Helen Grace. I have read a few of these in the past, although not this one, and they are well written and enjoyable police procedurals with a troubled heroine.
In this book two people are murdered, a mother and a shopkeeper, but the people and events seem to be completely unconnected. It soon becomes apparent, however, that they are both the work of the same individual and that there will be more deaths if the police cannot find and stop the perpetrator.
I am very happy to read this book and it’s one I might have picked up for myself if I had seen it in a charity shop. The copy I have been sent is in great condition.
